The contrast between the 2.2 km seafront straight where cars reach 366 km/h and the tight, slow turns of the historic inner city makes Baku one of the most visually distinctive circuits on the calendar.

About the circuit
The Baku City Circuit is a 6.003 km temporary street circuit along the Caspian Sea waterfront in central Baku. Heydar Aliyev International Airport is approximately 30 km from the city centre by road. The circuit runs along the Baku Bulvar (seafront promenade), which is walking distance from most city centre hotels. All standard grandstand tickets include a Thursday pit lane walk.
