About the circuit

The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve is a permanent circuit in the hills near Portimão, Algarve, southern Portugal. Faro Airport (FAO) is approximately 65 km from the circuit, with direct flights from most major European cities. The Algarve has a well-developed tourism infrastructure; most visitors rent a car or use taxis from Faro or Portimão. The circuit is approximately 10 km from Portimão town centre.
