The Hungaroring is a 4.381 km circuit of 14 tight corners set into a natural hillside bowl near Budapest, widely known for its narrow, winding layout. With a single main straight and limited overtaking opportunities, qualifying position and tyre strategy are decisive. Turn 1 is the exception: a wide braking zone that draws the boldest moves of the weekend, especially on the opening lap. The circuit's bowl shape means fans can follow more of the racing from a single seat than at most other Formula 1® venues.

Budapest has one of Central Europe's richest food cultures, and race weekend is a natural occasion to explore it. Gúlyás, langós, paprika-based stews and freshwater fish from the Danube are staples of Hungarian cuisine, available at local restaurants throughout the capital and at the circuit's catering areas. Budapest at Your Door
Special race-weekend buses run from Budapest's Keleti railway station directly to the circuit throughout the weekend; the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Budapest itself is connected to most European capitals by direct train, budget airline and road. Combining a race ticket with two or three nights in the city is the most popular way to experience the Hungarian Grand Prix.
