The world's first F1® night race
The FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX takes place at the Marina Bay Street Circuit - a 4.927 km temporary track through the heart of Singapore's Marina Bay financial and entertainment district. First held in 2008 as the world's first Formula 1® night race, it remains the only race where cars pass directly beneath illuminated skyscrapers, across bridges and through tunnels under full floodlighting.

Under the Lights of Marina Bay
Cars cross the Anderson and Esplanade bridges, sweep through the Bayfront section beneath the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, and thread through a tunnel under the Esplanade waterfront — all under full floodlighting. The reflections from the surrounding glass towers and the density of the financial district give Marina Bay a visual character no other circuit on the calendar can match.
Over 100 hours of entertainment
The Singapore Grand Prix is one of the most entertainment-intensive events on the Formula 1® calendar. Over 100 hours of live music and performances take place across multiple stages in the Circuit Park throughout the weekend, including the main Padang Stage in Zone 4 and the Wharf Stage in Zone 1. The event sells out every year and draws a crowd that treats the racing and the entertainment as equally central to the weekend.
The city is the circuit
Marina Bay is one of Singapore’s best-connected districts, served by several MRT stations on multiple lines: Promenade station and Nicoll Highway station are both adjacent to circuit entry points, and City Hall station provides access to the Padang zone. The journey from Changi Airport to the circuit takes approximately 35 minutes by MRT. Most grandstands, hotels and restaurants in the Marina Bay area are within walking distance of each other, making Singapore one of the most logistically seamless race weekends on the calendar.

Singapore is consistently ranked among the world’s top food destinations — a city where Michelin-starred hawker stalls sit alongside rooftop restaurants and multicultural markets. The Circuit Park’s food and beverage areas reflect the city’s culinary identity, with local favourites including chilli crab, laksa and Hainanese chicken rice available alongside international options. Beyond the circuit, Marina Bay, Clarke Quay and Chinatown are all within easy reach for fans extending their visit.
