Speed Without Limits
With concrete barriers just metres from the racing line for the entirety of the lap, there is no margin for error at any point of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Qualifying in Saudi Arabia is one of the most intense sessions on the calendar. The circuit's 27 corners flow in an almost unbroken sequence, requiring sustained commitment at speeds that would be exceptional even at a permanent facility.
Getting to Jeddah
King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) is one of the region's largest international hubs, with direct connections from most major European, Asian and North American cities. Booking transfers in advance is recommended — the race weekend is one of the busiest periods in the city's calendar.
Jeddah Beyond the Circuit
Jeddah is one of the Arab world's most historic port cities, and the race weekend is a natural occasion to explore it. Al-Balad, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed old city with its centuries-old coral-stone merchant houses and labyrinthine souks, is approximately 30 minutes by road from the circuit. Saudi cuisine, including kabsa and mandi, and the Red Sea's position as a world-class diving and snorkelling destination, make the city a fuller trip than the race weekend alone.
Racing and Entertainment Under the Lights
Since its debut in 2021, the FORMULA 1 SAUDI ARABIAN GRAND PRIX has established itself as one of the calendar's leading entertainment events, with an international programme of live concerts and performances running alongside the race across all three days. The combination of a night race, Red Sea setting, and dedicated entertainment village makes it one of the most complete race weekends from an off-track perspective.
